Alex was really welcoming and kind in a relaxed atmosphere. A very nice and new residence with reception (very helpful). Safe place and secured. We were there for just a weekend but we tried our best to spend a lunch with our host, also to show our gratitude for helping us with an issue we had.

Everything about this accommodation is great — the host, the location, the apartment, and the price. The apartment is well designed, featuring a separate room with one open wall overlooking the beautiful mezzanine, plus a private bathroom on the first floor. The Shoreditch location is close to the Tube and most major sights. Alex is a friendly host who made me feel right at home. Just be aware that this is more like "crashing at a friend's place" than "staying at a hotel." The host lives and works in the apartment, so things feel more homely — lively, a bit messier, and noisier than a regular hotel room. I would definitely stay again!

I stayed at Alex's place for four nights and had a wonderful time. It was my first experience with Mr B&B. Alex is a very kind and accommodating host. He made sure that I felt welcome and had everything I needed. We had some nice conversations. The room is accessible via stairs and there is a door that can be closed. However, the other side of the room is open, overlooking the living room below. I was very comfortable with it. Angel metro station is about 15 minutes away. The Northern Line takes you right to the city centre. You can take a picturesque walk along the canal to get there. There is also a bus stop that is only about 2 minutes away. It's a direct bus to London Bridge. All in all, I liked it quite a lot. Thank you, Alex.

Thanks to the great location and Alex's straight-forward, relaxed, communicative, and helpful outlook, my trip to London went seamlessly well. Plus he's a great guy with great friends. I wish I'd had more energy to go out for a pint or two with him!

I had a really nice stay at Alex's place. The room is an open mezzanine style overlooking the living room, which I liked because it felt bright and spacious. I had my own sleeping area and a private guest bathroom, which made things easy and comfortable. Alex was very welcoming and friendly, always happy to chat, which made the stay even better.
