Ground floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom, there is a downstairs living room with access to the garden that the guest can use.
If you need to work there is a second guest bedroom with a desk and chair and views of the Chiltern Hills and access to the main bathroom.
Access to main living room and kitchen (with basic breakfast options available) is on the first floor which is shared with the host and a friendly Cockapoo named Archie. There is parking for one car.
The location is perfect for travels to Stoke Mandeville, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Bicester, High Wycombe or London via either Chiltern Railways or London Northwestern (from Tring). Would suit HS2, Aylesbury Waterside theatre or commuting workers with discounts for longer stays available.
It's possible to walk into town/station or use the local bus, taxis are easily available if needed. A local gym/swimming pool is a 5 min drive away and Tesco Express/ Wenzal's Bakery / Coffee Shop is a 5 min walk away.

Wonderful relaxing home to stay the night. Ian and Alex were gracious hosts and accommodation is perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay as well as making friends with Archie the dog. Would definitely stay again.

Accommodation was to a very high standard and has absolutely everything you could possibly want. Ian was a great host and makes you feel very comfortable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Pretty much faultless. A lovely room, really comfortable bed. Great en suite. Everything provided. And the host was really easy to talk with. Both clothes and naked!

Modern, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and 'self contained' accommodation. Ian offers warm hospitality and is an experienced, well travelled and chatty conversationalist. Just the job for an overnighter - or longer if that is what is required.

Spent a relaxing evening with Ian, a welcoming and friendly host. Lovely house and room, just as described. A pity I could only stay one night. Hope to be back one day.
