Gymbox Elephant & Castle

Gymbox Elephant & Castle is widely regarded as London's most gay-popular gym, a high-energy, two-floor club known as much for its disco lights, DJs and larger-than-life trainers as for its serious kit. Spanning an Olympic boxing ring, aerial and dance studios, weights and functional zones, saunas, and a recovery area, it offers more than 100 classes a week across everything from boxing and spin to yoga and Hyrox. Long a favorite of LGBTQ+ gym-goers and right at the heart of the emerging Elephant & Castle queer scene, it hosts Pride classes and gay fitness socials, and was recently refurbished with new equipment and an upgraded men's sauna and locker rooms. Welcoming, playful, and inclusive, it's a fun, sociable place to train, and an easy add to a day around the Ele's bars and comedy clubs.
