On my latest adventure to United Arab Emirates, I explored sides of it I’d never imagined.
According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

Sunny·5·Nov. 2025· "Ahmed is a great host, the room was big with plenty of natural light and access to a balcony offering city views. The area offers lots of restaurants and shops and there is a lovely park within 5 mins walk away. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is coming to Dubai."

Ruben·5·Feb. 2022· "The building near the expo as I requested, spacious with everything you need to cook, balcony, spacious bed and comfortable bedding. I had problems with the hot water and they fixed it for me.
The inconvenience I had was that I needed to book an extra day, but apparently Staycae hadn't received the payment and came to charge me because they thought I would leave without paying, so I had to pay with my credit card. I hope misterbmb doesn't charge me since I had to pay and they don't seem to know how they arrange payments with MISTERBMB to receive them. But apart from this uncomfortable incident everything was peaceful."

I stayed there several times, having booked under different platforms and I've always been pleased, not only with the relation price/quality, but also with the attention received from its staff members in what concerns accommodating my needs; they do the utmost to please me in what concerns room configurations, etc.
I will stay there again and I strongly recommend it to our community, it's conveniently located across from a Metro Station from where we can reach every corner of Dubai. Has a very nice swimming-pool with jacuzzi on the rooftop, a gym, a sauna and steam, all you may need for a relaxed stay.
The only negative point is the alcohol free policy, I disagree that they are controlling me on this point, as if I was unable to do it myself. I think that this decision should be left to each person. But, religion plays its role and has to be respected, and I can find a glass of wine in some neighbouring places though."

Walk a flight of stairs to the small gym above 9th floor with no window. No lift access to the pool & gym.
15mins from the Metro station. But you have to cross a bridge.
I'm here during Ramadan period. But there're plenty of eateries that serve food (out of sight for respect) 24/7 across the road & around the Metro station. Plenty of supermarkets too.
Hot Water is only not hot.
There's a safety box in the room.
Room service is very efficient.
Not many power outlets in the room. So ask for a multi box if you have a few devices to charge at once.
You have to ask if you want everything replaced in your room or clean your table everyday.
Generally nice & friendly place to stay.
Buses to the airport, Dubai Frame, Museum of the Future & Burj Khalifa is only 2 mins walk around the corner. "

Mohamed helped me check out efficiently; the process took no more than a minute! The eating establishments at the hotel and the cafe were also of high quality. And the location of the hotel is excellent to explore Dubai."
