6 km south of Bastia, the Marana beach or Tombolo Biancu beach (or Tombolo Bianco, or Lido de la Marana beach) is located in Furiani. It begins at the Arinella beach in Bastia and extends to the south side of the Marana club. Fine sand and dunes separate the sea from the pond. The north side of the beach is the wildest part, popular with gays.
Accessible via N193. At the Furiani traffic circle, take the third exit towards Lido de la Marana, then continue on Rue Lagune.
