Le Cud

Le CUD is a Paris institution and one of the few places in Le Marais where you can actually dance — the after-hours spot where everyone ends up once the neighborhood's other gay bars close around 2am. The ground floor is a relaxed, intimate bar for drinks and conversation, while downstairs, in a set of vaulted stone cellars, a small dance floor comes alive late, with pop and R&B video clips keeping the energy up until dawn. It draws a genuinely diverse crowd, all ages, all styles, plenty of visitors passing through, in a warm, welcoming, gay-friendly atmosphere. Open every night from 11:30pm, it's the essential last stop on a Marais bar crawl.
