Merci·Marsha

Named in tribute to trans icon Marsha P. Johnson, Merci·Marsha is a warm, inclusive LGBTQ+ bar and cultural space in the 11th, near Bastille and Charonne. It pairs an inventive cocktail list — and a generous run of alcohol-free "free-cktails" — with one of the busiest queer events calendars in the city: drag bingo, karaoke, blind tests, queer stand-up, concerts and community get-togethers fill most nights. With a daily happy hour, a wheelchair-accessible room and a genuinely everyone's-welcome ethos, it has become a beloved anchor of the neighborhood's queer life.
