Sun City

The Sun City is the biggest and most beautiful gay sauna in Paris, a sprawling 3,000-square-meter Indian-themed playground spread over three floors on Boulevard de Sébastopol, a short walk from the Marais. Enter through an antique doorway into a world designed for relaxation, sport and cruising in equal measure: a striking indoor swimming pool and bubbling jacuzzis, a full sauna and steam room, a well-equipped gym where you can work out shirtless, private cabins and a large darkroom and maze for those after a bit more excitement. It draws a big, genuinely mixed crowd, all ages, all types, locals and tourists alike, and stays busy at any hour of any day, with weekends and Sunday afternoons especially popular, sometimes with lines out the door. The largest and, by many accounts, the best-equipped sauna in the city, it's an essential stop on the Paris gay-sauna circuit, open late on weekends for the true night owls.
