Amsterdam Gaysauna

Amsterdam is the longest-running gay sauna in Frankfurt, open since 1969 and set in an old villa across four floors south of the river in Sachsenhausen, about a fifteen-minute walk from the main station. Despite the name, it's pure Frankfurt: a quiet, cozy big-city oasis of a Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, steam room, whirlpool, a sun terrace, private cabins and an on-site restaurant and bar, with none of the loud foam parties of its rivals. It draws mainly a mature crowd of older men and their admirers, and is prized for its warm, homey feel, friendly team and emphasis on cleanliness, an easy place to relax and recharge.
