Chiarone beach is a great gay beach in Italy, which is generally very chill. It can be reached by continuing beyond Capalbio to Chiarone, stop at "The Last Beach" and once on the shore walk north for a quarter of an hour.
On the beautiful coast of Maremma, a few kilometres from Capalbio and Argentario, within a nature reserve and protected by beautiful Mediterranean dunes, you'll find the absolutely unspoilt and absolutely friendly Oasi di Macchiatonda Beach. The beach is also naturist friendly if you would like to drop more than just your towel. Connect with other LGBTQ+ beachgoers and enjoy some fun on the sand.
