Gitano Jungle Tulum

Gitano is Tulum's iconic jungle mezcal bar and restaurant, a canopy of trees, disco ball and candlelight that's become the unofficial anchor of the town's LGBTQ+-friendly nightlife. Warm to all couples, it pairs mezcal cocktails and Mexican dining with its famous Gypsy Disco DJ nights, which turn genuinely dancey (and a little glittery) by Tulum standards, especially on Thursdays. Stylish and inclusive rather than a gay venue per se, it's where queer visitors reliably end up.
