District35 is Slovenia's largest and best-known gay sauna, a sleek, modern men-only venue over three floors in Ljubljana's Stegne district, just off the ring road northwest of the center. The ground floor has a relaxed bar-lounge, the first floor holds separate Finnish and infrared saunas, a large steam room and a maze of relaxation booths, glory holes and a sling, and the top floor opens onto a glass-ceilinged lounge and sun deck with views toward the Alps. There's an on-site massage studio (by appointment) and a fetishwear shop, plus a calendar of dark and naked parties and drag shows. Clean, contemporary and safe, it draws a varied crowd from their 30s to 50s and is busiest on weekend evenings.
