Basaky

Basaky is one of Alicante's two gay saunas, a classic on the local scene styled like an old Arab hammam, with dim lights, mosaics and warm, inviting temperatures, a few minutes' walk from the Central Market and train station. It pitches itself as a men's sauna-spa, pairing a spacious steam room, a well-liked large hammam, a jacuzzi and hydromassage showers with a bar and lounge, private cabins, a darkroom, X video rooms and massage. Calm and relaxed midweek among locals and visitors, it comes alive at weekends and runs a Naked Basaky night every Saturday, drawing a friendly, mixed-age crowd.
