Fantastic, low-cost gym and swimming club right next to the beach in Barceloneta, and a genuinely gay-popular spot, since it sits directly in front of Sant Sebastià, Barcelona's oldest gay and nude beach. For around a €15 day pass, CNAB gives you the run of a century-old seaside club with several large swimming pools (two of them outdoors, overlooking the sea), a sundeck with loungers, a Jacuzzi and a wellness center, plus a huge fitness room and classes from morning to night. Bring your passport or ID for the day pass, and note that a swim cap is required in the indoor pool. A perfect place to swim, work out, and soak up the sun by the Mediterranean.
