Nathan Café is Geneva's friendly gay café-bar, opened in March 2015 on Avenue de Frontenex, a short walk from the lake in the Eaux-Vives neighborhood. Spread over 150 square meters on two floors, it feels more like a cozy living room than a nightclub, with several lounges, two libraries, a small terrace, and rotating art exhibits. Prices are easy by Geneva standards, with a regular happy hour, a special on long drinks every Wednesday, and light snacks such as panini, cheese and charcuterie platters, and nachos. Sunday is game night, and the calendar adds themed parties, including girls' nights. Warm staff, free WiFi, and a welcoming LGBTQ+ crowd make it an easy place to start the evening or settle in until late. It's open every evening from 5:00 pm.
