OPERA 5

Opéra 5 is a new cultural and festive venue in the heart of Lausanne, relaunched on October 1st in the premises of the long-running GT's Bar on Avenue de Tivoli, the city's traditional gay street. Set over two levels, its ground floor (Wednesday to Sunday from 5pm) is a bar and restaurant with a karaoke stage, for drinks with friends, a convivial meal or a turn in the spotlight, while the basement "Opéra 5 Backstage VIP" is a warm, two-room performance space dedicated to the stage: stand-up and comedy nights, live concerts and theater, plus quizzes, blind tests and themed evenings through the season. Both spaces, along with the Backstage VIP, can be privatized seven days a week, midday and evening, for birthdays, company parties and events of all kinds. Central, versatile and welcoming, it's an easy spot for a night of food, song and live entertainment.
