Farose 2 Sauna Ramkhamhang

Farose 2 is one of Bangkok's largest gay saunas, a sprawling garden-villa complex out east near Ramkhamhaeng University that was once billed as the biggest and most lavish in Asia. Set around a swimming pool and gardens, it packs in a dry sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, a stand-alone garden sauna, a gym, a large maze, a video theater, a dark room, glass-fronted cabins overlooking the pool, a karaoke room and a small dance hall, with an attached hotel for overnight stays. It draws a lively, mostly young, local and student crowd and gets busier the later it runs. A raunchy, macho spot with real scale, it's a Bangkok institution, if a faded one.
