The Heretic

Located at 2069 Cheshire Bridge Road NE, The Heretic is one of Atlanta’s longest-running and most unapologetically male-focused gay nightclubs. Open since the early 1990s, it has survived changing nightlife trends without surrendering the leather, bear and circuit influences that shaped its identity. Today, the club attracts a broader mix of gay men while retaining an atmosphere that is masculine, flirtatious and considerably less polished than some of Midtown’s cocktail-oriented LGBTQ+ venues.

Major weekend events bring circuit DJs, powerful sound, energetic lighting and a crowded dance floor filled with shirtless men, harnesses and plenty of committed dancing.
