The Club

The Club, known locally as Club Dallas, is one of the city's two gay bathhouses and a genuine institution, operating on the same western stretch of Swiss Avenue since 1974. Part of a national chain of men's clubs, its resort-style complex centers on an outdoor heated pool and sundeck with a "Cowboy" whirlpool, backed by a dry sauna, steam room, a full gym, private dressing rooms, video lounges, and cruise areas across the venue. Open around the clock and a longtime pillar of the local community, it draws a friendly, diverse crowd of gay and bi men from their mid-20s to early 40s, hosts a popular Sunday pool BBQ, and doubles as a free HIV/STI testing site on Tuesdays.
