Rich's is one of the most storied names in gay Houston nightlife, a dance club that first opened in 1983 and earned the nickname "Studio 54 of the South" across its decades on San Jacinto Street. After a stint in Montrose, the brand returned to its original Midtown address in 2025 following a roughly one-million-dollar overhaul of its lights, sound, and design, restoring the enormous multi-level dance floor, lounges, and patio that made its name.
