The Club

The Club Houston is the city's only gay bathhouse and one of its most enduring institutions, open in Midtown since 1973 and recently treated to a major multi-year renovation. A short hop from Downtown and Montrose, it spreads across an indoor wet area and an outdoor scene, with a heated pool, hot tub, dry sauna, a large and genuinely hot steam room, a fitness area, a sun-deck patio, a TV lounge, and a maze and video rooms upstairs. Clean, modern, and open around the clock, it draws a varied crowd that's busiest on weekends and is widely rated among the best bathhouses in Texas, with a one-time $10 membership fee.
