Java Joes

Java Joes is the heart-and-soul coffee house of Wilton Manors, an independent, LGBTQ+-friendly cafe right on Wilton Drive in the middle of the gayborhood, next door to Hunters nightclub. The freshly remodeled successor to the long-loved Java Boys, now run by the Hunters team, it pairs a warm, welcoming space of soft lighting, local art and cozy corners with genuinely good, ethically sourced coffee roasted in small batches, plus smoothies, teas, fresh-baked pastries, quiche, bagels and panini-style sandwiches. A daytime community hub where locals and remote workers linger over a latte with laptops out; it's also refreshingly purpose-driven, donating a share of every sale to local nonprofits and LGBTQ+ initiatives. A fabulous, feel-good alternative to the chain-coffee experience, right in the gay community.
