Horus

Horus is one of Montevideo's two gay saunas, an intimate, centrally located spot just a few blocks from Plaza Independencia in the heart of the city. It offers both dry and wet saunas, a cruise cellar with private rooms and public cubicles, secure lockers, a small bar and a cinema room, with towels, robes and slippers included. Its central setting and late-night weekend hours, open until early morning on Fridays and Saturdays, draw a livelier, younger clubbing crowd after dark, while weekday afternoons skew more mature. Friendly and refreshingly no-attitude, it's an easy, welcoming stop in the Uruguayan capital.
