Comfort Inn University Durham - Chapel Hill
Breakfast included • Wi-Fi • Pool
Thomas·4·Apr. 2026· "While the name cites Durham first, it's actually much closer to Chapel Hill. The UNC-CH campus is just a 10 minute drive away, making it very convenient for events there.
This hotel is comparable to a Holiday Inn Express: basically a simple, comfortable place to watch TV, sleep, and have breakfast before you leave. The only major amenity is an outdoor pool that hasn't been filled yet. I didn't see their 'fitness center' and cannot comment.
As for their affiliation with MisterB&B: that was a 'nice to know' which I appreciated for spending my money at supportive businesses.
Regarding any gay interests: I did observe one drop-dead-gorgeous, 6'6" muscle hunk who *truly* needed servicing. Alas, he was accompanied by his wife and kids, in the very busy breakfast area that was barely large enough to accompany the bustling morning rush.
My 3 night stay cost $525 -- rather pricey as things go! Hotels anywhere, especially in college towns, have highly variable rates that are dictated by demand. My visit coincided with 2 sellout performances with the 'Savannah Bananas' which likely jacked the rate up. "

Walk to Duke Campus! 1 Bedroom in Trinity Park!
1 Bedroom • 1 Bed • 1 Bathroom
Roger·5·Jun. 2024· "The apartment served us well. It is a large house with three separate apartments on a lovely tree lined street close to Duke, making it easy to attend the American Dance Festival events we came for. Bed was comfortable for the two of us, full kitchen although we didn't need it much, and very clean, if a bit spartan. The digital locks at the building entrance and the apartment entrance were easy to navigate, but we are old school and prefer a more personal arrival. An unfortunate issue with communication and billing came up, so we would recommend having at least one personal text or phone connection with the hosts before coming."
