I recently had the chance to travel to Jamaica and dive into its unique atmosphere.

According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

Lawrence·4·Apr. 2024· "This place is nestled between the airport and the ocean. We were there for our anniversary. We spent most of the days traveling to the beach, shops, and places to eat. When we did eat on the property, we sat on the balcony and on the roof because there was no access to a kitchen or sitting area inside the building. The neighbors were friendly to us and one neighbor even stopped to speak to us when we were sitting on the balcony one morning to tell my husband and I that he didn't mind that we are two men together; that he accepts all people. All the neighbors eventually invited us out to do one thing or another. We were selective with what we did, and we compensated everyone for their time and tipped well. Make sure you know the exchange rate, though, because we were constantly moving between USD and Jamaican dollars."

Mike·5·Aug. 2023· "It would be an understatement to call this a Cottage, the home is quite large and spacious, and spotlessly clean, the gardens are quite expansive with different areas to lounge and enjoy different orchids, fruit trees and decorations. Fleur was a charming host and very helpful with recommending local tours and attractions, the housekeeper "Barbara" prepared us freshly cooked local breakfast specialties every morning, the Gardener "Tony" even brought us freshly picked Mangoes and Neesberry from the garden. In all we are so pleased to have chosen this property and look forward to returning again."
