My trip to Tanzania was full of surprises, both big and small.

According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

Leo·5·Feb. 2023· "This hotel is stunning - a beautiful, secluded location with its own private section of beach. It's located on the quieter side of Nungwi but at low tide you can stroll around the headland to the bars and shops of Nungwi Beach if you like. The staff at the hotel were really welcoming and friendly. And the food was fantastic! A great place to relax and unwind. But you can also arrange excursions if you're up for exploring."
