This room, right on the Lyon Peninsula near Place Carnot, is a genuinely happy and magical spot — and Arnaud is the reason why. A kind, generous host who's built a wonderful circle of friends since moving to Lyon a year ago, he made me feel instantly at home. The kitchen is fully equipped — I cooked a full Moroccan feast — and one night a delightful group of his friends joined us in the living room. It felt like we'd all known each other for years.
Arnaud is a very talented Fashion Designer and pattern maker. Ask him about the creative scene in the area, local figure drawing classes, and tag along to find his favorite spots to enjoy the sun and picnics along the Rhône River you will not regret it.
I came for a room and left with a friend. Thank you, Arnaud, for such a delightful stay. I cannot wait to return.
