Josef·5·Jan. 2019· "I can highly recommend the place and the owner Marco. The place can be highly recommended to anybody who is looking for a quiet place in the middle of nature. The Chalet is tiny, but very cozy. It is only a taxi drive away from the Airport. Some bars and Restaurants are close by. It is wonderfully situated between some of the most beautiful beaches of Santa Catarina, namely between Praia Joaquina and Praia Mole. Both beaches can be rather busy. I liked most Playa Galheta, which is one of the very few closing optional beaches. Have of the People there are gay. It is only reachable through a path across the rocks from Praia Mole. It takes a bit Long, but I still made it by walkign (about one hour) practically every day. It helps that you can walk arlong the beach.
The place is not a place who look for other men, but an ideal place especially for a couple.
Marco, the owner, is a wonderful, very warm-hearted guy. From the very beginning we were like friends. Brazilians are known for their friendliness, but Marco was definitely the nicest person I met during my three-months stay in Brazil.
Although he was very busy running his surfing school and altough he does not live in the premises, he was very available, always offered to help and often dropped by to see whether anything would be missing. Marco can also give you many recommendations on what you can do on the island.
I have made several bookings over MisterBandB, which was not always easy. But also in this regard, Marco was best. He always answered very quickly and was helpful and comforting when it was not so clear whether the reservation has actually worked."

Francis·5·Apr. 2023· "My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Stuart Manor Bed and Breakfast Victorian mansion for the second time, and it was just as delightful as we remembered. Whenever we're in the area for an event, we make sure to book a stay at this beautiful property - it truly feels like a home away from home.
Upon our return, we were once again struck by the mansion's grandeur and elegance. Our room was just as relaxing and beautifully decorated as before, and we were thrilled to find Russel and William were just as warm and welcoming as ever.
Throughout our stay, they checked-in to make sure that we had everything we needed and made us feel like valued guests. Russell put freshly-picked flowers from their garden in our room! They were always available to answer our questions, make recommendations, and ensure that our stay was perfect in every way.
As on our previous visit, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. The homemade quiche, fruit, waffles, and coffee were a wonderful way to start our days.
Overall, we cannot recommend Stuart Manor highly enough. It is truly a special place, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you to Russel and William for another unforgettable stay!"

Ed·5·Jun. 2025· "Tony's home is a stunningly beautiful house and I felt very relaxed staying here. The bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful with plenty of hot water. Tony is a lovely host and communication was not a problem. His co-host, Smudge (the kitten), was perfect and I loved the personal attention he gave me. The house is within walking distance of supermarkets and the town centre. I hope to be able to stop here again next time I require a stay in Kendal."

Yet it was lovely and quiet at night too. The pool was superb and very quiet. No problem finding a sun bed. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Light and well decorated with a sunny balcony. We had a great stay and would recommend this apartment and certainly stay there again. Thanks Abel."
