The location was fantastic, with many different options for food and entertainment, day or night. Joshua was a fantastic host — so kind and very respectful. Definitely recommended!"

Following a price error due to the platform, we were offered another apartment, larger but in a different neighborhood (L'Esplanade).
Looking for an apartment for 3 nights close to a tram station, we accepted the proposal.
Apart from the complicated access to TV to get French channels, everything went well thanks to the kindness and availability of Endri and his partner Marinela"

Jonathan was very helpful in suggesting places to get food as well as the night life. (Especially past 8 pm. It turns out that there is a nice BBQ place half a mile away)
His apartment is situated in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. There is a park that is 3 minutes walk away, that leads to a bigger park (Brakenridge) - not counting the botanical Gardens. It is a wonderful walk in the evening after a day in the sun when it is hot but then has cooled when the sun is down. Area residents are doing their walks or jogging for exercise. And if one wants to get some jogging, both parks will serve you very well.
He has a ground floor apartment- great for people with mobility issues. There are no stairs to climb. The room is well kept, the bathroom decent (it is an older place) but clean. The common areas are neat and homey. It really feels like staying over at a friend's place who took time to make you feel comfortable. Centralized AC helped make the stay comfortable when the temps outside are 105.
There is parking in front of the building, and having a car is useful in the city. Otherwise, bus access is about half a mile away on the main street by Brakenridge Park. Otherwise taking car services/taxi/Uber will be convenient as his place is close to downtown. (6-10 minutes)
Johnathan has a cat, so those with allergies may need to take some medications.
Overall, I would stay with Johnathan again when I pass San Antonio again. "

This lovely couple made me feel so at home from the moment I arrived, always making sure I had my coffee, was fed, and had everything I needed. They shared endless recommendations, took me out, and made my stay so personal and memorable.

Miki·5·Sep. 2024· "Originally from Memphis, I pride myself in knowing all the hidden and not so hidden gems around the city — even though I've been living on the West Coast for more than 15 years. Apparently, I've wasted my entire life until I discovered Wonderland Hall. I can't imagine a better place to stay anywhere. Although the photos are stunning, they don't do the spaces justice. The attention to detail is mind blowing. Every single time I looked around, I discovered something new and beautiful. I've never seen another space like this one. Aside from that, the host, Steven, was beyond reproach. Communication was upbeat and timely. I felt more than welcomed; I felt like a friend — or at least a friend of a friend. If there's ANYTHING in the listing that resonates with you, book it! Seriously. It's more than a place to stay, it's a beautiful experience, AND somehow it's less than the hotel I was considering while delivering so, so, so much more."

Zen·5·May. 2023· "This was one of the nicest place I had stayed! Really lovely property - clean and private room and an awesome pool! Richard was super nice and friendly. Loaned me a beach chair when I went to Anna Maria Island (3 min away). Location isn't right in Sarasota but still pretty good location and sort of between St Pere and downtown Sarasota.
Can't wait for my next visit!"

Dong·5·Sep. 2026· "The flat, located in a smart neighborhood, is super convenient: 1 min walk to the bus stop, 5 mins walk to the train station, surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. The apt is BIG, clean, bright, well equipped, and has a BIG balcony and great view of the city. AND, the bed is super comfy!! The host Ollie is handsome, friendly, and made me feel very welcome. He gave me lots of touring advices, and we chatted almost every night. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to be his guest again!"

An easy place, where you can swim in the pool and relax between visits to points of interest that are relatively close by. Large dining room and well-stocked with reference books. Having your own car is essential. Good breakfast. I would return."
