Loren·5·Dec. 2025· "Charles and his partner have curated a wonderful home located in a quiet residential neighborhood in San Antonio. Although I was only able to stay for one night, I'm on a timeline driving across the country, I was instantly met with warmth and receptiveness. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and more affordable than any motel.
As it so happened, I stayed over Christmas Eve. So, being in the home of such gentle and kind people as I spent the holiday in a city where I know no one was much appreciated. And had I not had a schedule to keep, I would have happily taken up their gracious invitation to an enchilada Christmas dinner.
I strongly recommend staying with them."

Carlos was very friendly and helpful, and gave us clear explanations about everything we needed to know. He made us feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived.
We also had a lovely chat over a glass of port, which was a really nice personal touch.
We would definitely be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

Giangiacomo·5·Sep. 2026· "We stayed for only one night, unfortunately, because the room was in an extraordinarily secluded location, nestled in the greenery of a small valley just above Menton (which reaches the town center in 20/30 minutes on foot). Laurent waited for us even in the evening, given our delay, and showed us the areas where we could eat and sunbathe freely. The room, although compact, was well-maintained and welcoming. Finally, try his garden breakfast in the company of Suri (the cat)!"

New Eltham is an unusual neighbourhood in SE London and the house is typical and quirky. I had no difficulty parking my car nearby and the house is 15 minutes walk from Eltham station with frequent trains to central London. My bed was very comfortable and I slept better than in my own bed. There was a large TV, a microwave oven and a fridge containing milk and other drinks. I was unsure about sharing my hosts' bathroom but it was next to my room and no problem. I hope to have a reason to return soon."
