The house is filled with art and has a large pool/jacuzzi. Peter was an excellent host, available by ******** when we needed. Ghasri is a bit out of the way; so, we were glad we had a car."

Nat and Craig were very nice and flexible regarding arrival and departure. Their help and advice were invaluable for having a good stay. Garden and pool very pleasant."

Andrea was always available. I was texting him during the day and always responsive. He even helped me arrange my taxi to airport at 4 am. He is one of the best hosts I have ever encountered. Totally recommend him and his place."

James & Graham·5·Sep. 2026· "We had a really lovely stay at Umah Watu. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a peaceful little retreat in the middle of Seminyak, with a beautiful traditional Balinese character and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Our room was spacious, comfortable and clearly very well looked after. The bed was excellent, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower had great water pressure, which is always appreciated after a hot day out exploring.
The garden and pool area was probably our favourite part of the property. It was beautifully maintained and had such a calm, private feel that we found ourselves genuinely slowing down and relaxing there. The stepping stones across the water feature added to the sense of tranquillity, and we loved seeing the koi swimming below and the two resident turtles, who seemed especially fond of sunbaking on the rocks. Little details like that gave the whole space so much personality.
Tonno also made the stay feel especially welcoming. He met us on arrival, was incredibly friendly, and shared some really useful local advice and recommendations. He was always available by message if we needed anything, but without ever feeling intrusive.
Umah Watu has that lovely balance of being comfortable and well cared for while still feeling personal and full of character. We left feeling very relaxed and would happily stay again."
