It was the perfect place to experience Piura and the surrounding areas. All was exactly as described and more. Halam is very friendly and went out of his way with his wife to meet me in Lima and help orientate me for my first time in Peru. He was always at the end of a text if required. This was an excellent stay with a kind host and I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you."

I felt very comfortable in the place. I was able to wash my clothes, had the kitchen at my disposal and a spacious terrace to enjoy.
Eric is always attentive and willing to resolve any questions. Very good host and pleasant for a good conversation, without a doubt a place to return to."

Les·4·Aug. 2025· "As my arrival day approached, I was concerned that I hadn't heard from the host. I sent a message but didn't get a reply, which made me nervous. He did eventually reply and all was sorted. He wasn't going to be around but he had arranged for his friend to greet me. His friend was lovely and even carted my suitcase up the three flights of rather steep stairs. He also followed up the next day and came over for a chat.
The place is quite spacious in the living area. The bed was comfortable. There was no aircond but the portable fan was enough, with the windows open.
The host said they had cleaned but there remained an ashtray with butts in it on the kitchen sink, along with a rack full of dishes.
Aside from that, everything was fine."

Deep·5·May. 2025· "Staying with Josine and John felt more like staying with my sister and brother-in-law than staying in a BnB. They made me a family away from home. I came alone, but never felt alone in this new country. The most difficult part of this stay was the goodbye. Josine was busy with hosting an event. Still she managed to spend some time with me and we shared stories. Josine also invited me to the event that she organized and I made several friends there at the event! John and I watched EuroVision together. John is also a great cook. Their house is super clean and lovely. It is big and beautiful (more beautiful than the photos show!) I highly recommend this place to families, (straight or gay) couples, solo men, and solo women."

Jan·5·Sep. 2025· "We had a wonderful time at the green oasis. The place is great, spacious, lovely outdoor place and pool. But the icing on the cake is surely the view. magic.
It's some kind of adventure to get up the mountainside, but you get the hang of it after a while and some trials. The host was very friendly and helpful to get us settled in. I would certainly visit again."
