Lewis·5·Dec. 2025· "I spent six nights in this truly beautiful period house, which has been stunningly modernised throughout while still retaining all of its original charm. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I had my own private wing of the home. Quiet, comfortable, and wonderfully peaceful, yet still with access to generous, thoughtfully designed social spaces whenever I wanted them. The garden was an unexpected highlight: a lovely, sunny spot where I enjoyed my morning coffees and could properly unwind before heading out for the day.
The location couldn’t have been better. It’s perfectly positioned close to the gay scene, with an impressive selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants just a short stroll away. Getting into the CBD was incredibly quick and easy, whether by train or on foot, which made exploring Melbourne effortless.
Most of all, I felt genuinely welcomed and completely at ease throughout my stay. As a solo traveller from the UK, that meant a lot. You were warm, easy to live with, and created an environment where I felt relaxed, comfortable, and at home. Your extensive local knowledge was invaluable and your recommendations for places to visit, neighbourhoods to explore, and especially where to find some of Melbourne’s best coffee and brunch, really help me enjoy the city.
Overall, it was a brilliant experience in a beautiful home, and I’m so grateful for the hospitality. Would absolutely stay again."

Benzi·5·Jun. 2026· "This apartment is in a fantastic location, just one minute from the metro, which makes it incredibly easy to get around and explore Paris. Even though it is so close to public transport, the apartment faces the other direction, so it stays very quiet and peaceful. The neighbourhood was honestly the best I have stayed in so far in Paris. It feels like real Paris, where you meet real people and experience the city beyond the usual tourist areas, while still having amazing food, great music venues, and a beautiful park nearby. The apartment itself is small, but very well organized, extremely clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The balcony is a great bonus and adds a lot of charm. If your plan is to explore the city, this place is more than enough and is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. It also felt very welcoming and LGBTQ+ friendly, which made the stay even more comfortable. Baptist was a wonderful host: very communicative, warm, and genuinely kind. He gave me excellent recommendations for food, drinks, bars, LGBTQ+ spots, and local places to visit. A real highlight is that Baptist is also an expert in art. I highly recommend asking him about the art tour he can provide. He is extremely knowledgeable, a professional art historian, and he took me to places I never would have discovered on my own. Overall, a fantastic stay, especially for LGBTQ+ travelers, and highly recommended."
