It was also in a great location for our requirements. The pastries in the freezer were a nice touch, and the late checkout was a bonus. The communication with Bruce was great and accessing it was easy. Thank-you. Will definitely stay here again."

Ion is an exceptional host, warm, incredibly hospitable and generous with his time. We spent hours chatting, which made the stay feel personal and comfortable. He was also extremely helpful with local tips and recommendations.
The room itself is spacious and spotlessly clean, with a wonderfully comfortable bed, plenty of storage and a beautiful view. Its top-floor location makes it a quiet, relaxing space to return to after exploring Milan. The standard of cleanliness throughout was excellent.
The location is another major plus. The neighbourhood felt safe, and the train and metro connections are literally just outside the building, making it quick and easy to reach Milano Centrale and get around the city.
An excellent stay and great value for money. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ion’s place to anyone visiting Milan. Thank you, Ion, for making your first guest feel so welcome!"

Jason made an effort to host for doughnuts and coffee for breakfast which was not necessary but appreciated. Dogs, goats and a cat will welcome you to the "farm" with open arms as well.

Lewis·5·Dec. 2025· "I spent six nights in this truly beautiful period house, which has been stunningly modernised throughout while still retaining all of its original charm. From the moment I arrived, I felt as though I had my own private wing of the home. Quiet, comfortable, and wonderfully peaceful, yet still with access to generous, thoughtfully designed social spaces whenever I wanted them. The garden was an unexpected highlight: a lovely, sunny spot where I enjoyed my morning coffees and could properly unwind before heading out for the day.
The location couldn’t have been better. It’s perfectly positioned close to the gay scene, with an impressive selection of bars, cafés, and restaurants just a short stroll away. Getting into the CBD was incredibly quick and easy, whether by train or on foot, which made exploring Melbourne effortless.
Most of all, I felt genuinely welcomed and completely at ease throughout my stay. As a solo traveller from the UK, that meant a lot. You were warm, easy to live with, and created an environment where I felt relaxed, comfortable, and at home. Your extensive local knowledge was invaluable and your recommendations for places to visit, neighbourhoods to explore, and especially where to find some of Melbourne’s best coffee and brunch, really help me enjoy the city.
Overall, it was a brilliant experience in a beautiful home, and I’m so grateful for the hospitality. Would absolutely stay again."
