This room, right on the Lyon Peninsula near Place Carnot, is a genuinely happy and magical spot — and Arnaud is the reason why. A kind, generous host who's built a wonderful circle of friends since moving to Lyon a year ago, he made me feel instantly at home. The kitchen is fully equipped — I cooked a full Moroccan feast — and one night a delightful group of his friends joined us in the living room. It felt like we'd all known each other for years.
Arnaud is a very talented Fashion Designer and pattern maker. Ask him about the creative scene in the area, local figure drawing classes, and tag along to find his favorite spots to enjoy the sun and picnics along the Rhône River you will not regret it.
I came for a room and left with a friend. Thank you, Arnaud, for such a delightful stay. I cannot wait to return.

There's a beautiful park and café within walking distance and everything is 10 to 15 minutes Uber rides away. The eastern market is a 10 minute walk i'm I believe there is a metro station there. The hosts were very kind and hospitable with clear instructions. Highly recommend without any reservations. I had a wonderful stay."

Despite a busy personal and professional schedule, Yannick took the time to welcome me warmly. We spent a pleasant time together discussing light-hearted topics, or more serious ones... This wonderful person showed me delicate attentions that greatly simplified my daily life. His recently renovated apartment is decorated with sure taste, with an attention to detail that I appreciated. For the night, the bedding is more than professional, and therefore offers absolute comfort. The marble bathroom is also one of the refinements of this extraordinary place. If the opportunity arises, I would be delighted to return to Yannick's."

John·5·Aug. 2026· "What amazing host David speaks perfect English while Martin speaks Spanish. Both are sweet men. The park near by is huge and beautiful. Very crowded ok the weekends. The place is exactly as described! Very homey and I felt like home. Dave's communication is amazing. I knew exactly where and how to get to the location. The only negative if you have to go to Chaperano know it's about 40-45 minutes uber. Other than these men will make a part of their family ! I have two new friends !"
