After a very tough travel day (for reasons completely unrelated to them), it was amazing to be welcomed with a cold Belgian beer and incredible hospitality. It was like meeting up with old friends. Their home and garden are both beautiful and inviting, and having the whole top floor dedicated to their guests means you can be comfortable in your own space while still enjoying their company downstairs. They did everything they could to make my stay as pleasant as possible through the record-setting heat and gave great suggestions on what to see in Bruges. And Matilda is one of the friendliest dogs I have met - she makes sure you're greeted every morning with the warmest welcome and is just a joy to be around. Thank you both for an amazing stay!"
