The house is situated in a quiet and residential area, on walking distance to the historic city center. We provide two bicycles to discover the city and the surroundings.
There is free parking space available. If you arrive by train, if possible, we can pick you up at the railway station. Or you can take a taxi or bus that stops near the house.
You can enjoy a spacious room with large flatscreen TV, blu ray player and playstation. We have a selection of movies and games. There is a fridge in the room and facilities to make free coffee or tea. We have a double sized bed. The bathroom is shared with the owners and features a walk-in rainshower. We provide sheets and towels.
The guests are welcome to use the garden and patio. We have two bicycles so you can discover Bruges and the surrounding area. You also get a city map for free ! We are also well informed about all the things to see and to do in Bruges.
NEW : If you want to relax after a busy day as tourist in Bruges, you can book a massage. 70 minutes relaxing and the best part is : you don't have to leave the house ! Ask more information to your host. You are in good hands !

I'm 43 years old, married with Filip, but there are no kids running around. I work as a paramedic in a hospital in Bruges. I also give relaxing massages at home. Since childhood, I dreamt of living in Bruges and now I'm very happy to share my love for this beautiful city with my visitors. I love to travel myself and learned from my travel experiences, to make this room into a second home for guests.

We arrived at Kurt's home after a 6 day bike ride across the Netherlands. Kurt was gracious and kind assisting with transportation to his home and getting us settled. He is an amazing host and his accommodations were outstanding. Kurt provided directions and suggestions for our stay and made sure we were comfortable and that our needs were met. We hated to leave and are planning a return trip to Bruges to re experience Kurt's hospitality. Kurt and Bruges are an excellent place to visit. We recommend them both very highly.

Kurt is the most gracious host starting with excellent communication about my arrival. He kindly picked me up at the train station so I did not have to worry about taking public transport to his beautiful home. The home is beautiful with a lovely garden and the room is immaculate! He has coffee, dishes and utensils all prepared for your arrival. Additionally, the location is perfect being walking distance to the center of Bruges. I will definitely be back as I thoroughly enjoyed me time at Kurt's beautiful home.

Kurt and his partner are wonderful hosts. Their bamboo room is located in a very quiet neighborhood and within walking distance of the historic center. A real recommendation!

From the moment my partner and I arrived in Bruges, we were very well looked after by Kurt. He collected us from the train station, we met his lovely partner Filip and their beautiful white kitten. Their home was stunning, very modern, impeccably clean and it had all the amenities we needed. It was in a great location, only 15 minutes walk from the centre with plenty of shops and everything we needed. Kurt assisted us with all queries we had about the area. Communication throughout was great.

I've been to Bruges, Belgium many times but only for day trips so was really nice to actually spend a few days and live like a local. Kurt and Filip were great hosts and were kind enough to pick me up from the train station when I arrived and take me back on my date of departure. There home is beautiful and the bamboo room for rent is perfect and comfortable. The convenient location is an easy walk to the centrum and decided to not use the bike since enjoy walking but next time I'd take the bike because familiar with the neighborhood now! I'm new using misterbnb and glad I tried it on this trip and will continue to use for my future travels around the world!:) Loved eating 2 days in a row at my favorite place for a yummy and flaky "Belgian Waffle" which are scrumptious and delectable @ "Laurent Tea Room" in the centrum and definitely a "must do!" Also, if you enjoy massage Kurt is an excellent masseuse which I needed because I was traveling for a few weeks already so greatly appreciated. Thanks again guys for making my stay a memorable one and hope to stay at your place when I return to Bruges!:)

Kurt was a perfect host and easy-going person. The accommodation is perfect, very well located and not far from city centre. You can use the bike to ride to the centre. Kurt gave all necessary information that helped to know better the city.
