Ali was extremely kind and helpful from the very beginning dealing with me online. Once there, he helped me order things online, assisted with food orders, and always made sure I was comfortable. We also shared a dinner together and have stayed in touch since.
Great taste, a wonderful person, and a place I highly recommend. I didn't just find a nice apartment in Cairo, I made a friend."

He's extremely welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived, I felt at home. The room was super nice with a very comfy bed, and he even offered me an extra blanket. The location is also great and easy to find. Overall, a really chill and pleasant stay."

Cédric·4·Oct. 2023· "This was a pleasant stay. It is in a very calm area, a village close to Luxor, on the West Bank. The villa is very beautiful, and it is big. You can chill on the roof. One thing to know is that the villa is quite far from the main sites of the West Bank, and also from the ferry to go the East Bank (walking distance 50 min). You need to walk a bit to reach a road where you can take mini buses or tuktuk or else. The other thing to know is that the house is guarded by Ragab, a very polite and helpful man. If you don't want to spend your time and energy in organizing your day, you know you can reach Ragab anytime. However, please note that the prices he offers (for taxi, private ferry to the Luxor Temple) are very high, compared to what we negotiated ourselves directly. Karl insisted that we can trust Ragab with prices, but our personal experience was very different."

It is close to all points of interest and of the train station. Cherry on top, Atef is a friendly, nice man to have conversations with. He is also full of good advises and knows all the secrets of his city!"
