Romain·5·Mar. 2026· "Cesar was not there in person, but he stayed in frequent contact and was very helpful whenever I needed anything. Communication was smooth and reliable throughout my stay.
The location is great, with easy access to everything nearby. The WiFi was strong, check-in and check-out were simple, and the rooftop was a wonderful bonus.
Hope to be back again soon."

His apartment is located about 30min by Uber from the airport.
He lives on a top floor of a building with a 24/7 security. There's gym across the road where i had a chance to train with Carlos together.
Carlos is very honest and easy to get along. He showed some cool neighboorhoods, cooked some meals for me and we shared great stories together.
Although it's a little away from the main tourist attractions, but you will be smitten with Your host.
Highly recommended!"

My only gripe is quibbling with the management about the on-site parking. I fly in from the US, I don't have a car with me. There should be no problem with a local friend Parking for an hour or so. It just seems petty. Other than that, it is always a great stay."

Luis alejandro·5·Dec. 2023· "The hostel is quite well-located, the neighborhood is quite nice, less than a block away there are plenty of places to eat or dine, shops and more. The price includes breakfast, usually pancakes or hotcakes and coffee. The bunks or capsules have ******** necessary and are comfortable for spending the night, and the shared bathrooms are quite nice and clean. From the hostel to the city center you can even walk there, it will be about 30 minutes, but if you prefer, less than a block away there are bus stops and I thought I saw a metro station, or you can take a taxi or uber which didn't seem expensive to me. The guy at reception was very kind, I arrived in the early morning and he waited for my arrival and always helped me with tips and recommendations. This place is a good option for staying in Guatemala."

The apartment itself leaves much to be desired. The housing and furniture seem to be from the seventies.
Breakfast is not offered."

Luis alejandro·5·Dec. 2023· "The hostel is quite nice, clean, the bedrooms and bunk beds are comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and fans and everything you need for a good night's sleep. The shared bathrooms also seemed clean to me. I loved the place, the island is very small and you can walk around it all and very close you find restaurants of all kinds and tastes. To get there I took a taxi but you can take a Van that drops you off at the entrance of the island and from there you can reach the hostel walking without any problem. The price doesn't include breakfast, but I think they have a kitchen where you can prepare whatever you want. That said, it's very hot, but the views from their bar to the lagoon and at sunrise are spectacular!"
