Jamie·5·Oct. 2026· "You could not pick a more convenient location for the proximity to local Dublin attractions, food and night life. It was a short walk to cathedrals, museums, pubs, bars, nightclubs, et al. The staff was very friendly. The rooms are very small but extremely clean. I am a very chubby man and the bathroom (particularly the shower) was a bit of a tight squeeze but still workable. If you are looking for historic charm, clean rooms, friendly staff and ideal location, I would definitely recommend."

Carter·5·Sep. 2024· "Literally in the heart of Dublin! Many nice restaurants around! The only thing that is rough but absolutely not the hotels fault, is the late night people leaving temple bar are loud and will absolutely be echoing through the streets outside your windows! But they warn about that! We were expecting it! Just make sure you are too! It was very safe and I was happy with our stay overall!"

Clément·4·Aug. 2023· "The venue asked me to pay a second time even after I showed them proof that the booking app had already charged me.
The guests are extremely loud and the staff says nothing, music blasting at full volume, etc."

Pascal·4·Jun. 2022· "This hotel, though less expensive than most of other ones in Dublin, is really outdated and not very well-managed. The breakfast was not ready at 7:30 am as indicated, and even later you have to fight to get crambled eggs or a larger choice of bread."

Florian·4·Jun. 2026· "Good location next to a tram stop about 15 minutes away from the city centre and just two stops away from Heuston station. Roy is a very kind and helpful host and the room has a large and comfy bed. All in all a good place for your next trip to Dublin."

Academy Plaza Hotel
Breakfast included • Wi-Fi • Parking
Cyril·4·Sep. 2021· "The hotel was in a good location, close to public transport. The Living Room is a bar right next door that is open until 11. Unfortunately, you could hear party goers a little until the bar closed. The only warning I would give is that you might want to choose a hotel that doesn't require advanced payment. We lost over 100 Euro due to our flight cancelled from the USA. Once paid, there are no refunds."
