Délice Dream 2013: a look back at 5 days of madness.

From May 4 to 9, the 3rd edition of the Délice Dream, the European gay spring break, took place. More than 700 gays, most of them Europeans, met in the town of Lloret de Mar in the heart of the Costa Brava. Five days during which the party was in full swing. Five days during which the slogan of the event, "No time to sleep", has never been so relevant. Here is a look back at a very intense week, both for the participants and for the organizers(see the interview with Anthony, event organizer).

Once settled in one of the two hotels hosting the event, the Palmera and the Cleopatra, participants were invited to a welcome cocktail, around the Cleopatra's pool. The tone was set. Music, meetings, and drinks at will. It was time for 5 days of non-stop fiesta!

After having familiarized oneself with the open-bar and after a passage by the buffet, no time to blow. Direction the Colossos for the first evening, a Circuit Festival evening, made in Matinée Group with Javier Medina and Mister Mola. A promising start for the clubbing amateurs who came in number. And for the most courageous this first day continued at the Palmera Hotel for an After by Gym Louvre Sauna. Some of you had trouble sleeping because the atmosphere lasted all night long. You were warned: "No time to sleep"!

Sunday was a busy day. After attending a swimsuit parade Aussiebum, it was time to vote for the Mister Delight 2013. Equipped with a token each, direction the ballot boxes. And it is Sofiane who wins. A small show that will have made our mouths water. A bit of relaxation around the pool is necessary, before getting ready for the official Delight party, at the Orange club. The after party was this time organized by the ^1st basement, from Lyon. Did you plan to sleep?

The third day took much more exotic looks. We start with an Oriental T-dance, around the pool, real HQ of these 5 days of party. Gogos, dancers, and music were there to transport us to the other side of the Mediterranean. Change of atmosphere, then, with a very local evening. On the menu: flamenco and paella. Olé! And the day ends with an immediate boarding for a Navy evening by the Scream of Paris.

The end is approaching, so everyone enjoys it a lot, especially since the sun was with us, almost every day. Unfortunately, the Beach Party that was supposed to take place was cancelled (for still obscure reasons), leaving the springbreakers on their hunger. After a small demonstration in front of the town hall of Lloret de Mar, and a return to calm, the afternoon was the occasion to make up for this missed appointment: the Mousse Party in Colossos will remain probably one of the most outstanding events of this week. And to close this day rich in twists and turns, the clubbers were invited to the Orange club for the Burlesque evening.

The tiredness starts to be felt, but courage, there is only one day left! The luckiest ones, who had booked early enough, had an appointment on the beach, for the departure of the Spyce Boat: small cruise, under the sun, off the Costa Brava. On their return, last pool party ! Oye! under a beginning rain and the "water" guns of the gogos. For the last time, back to the Orange club for the Sport by Red&Blue party. In the middle of shorts, body, and other sportswear, the atmosphere is very electro. But it's already the end.

It's time to leave. After the good-byes and some exchanges of emails, numbers or facebook to stay in touch, the hotels find their calm. And a wind of nostalgia invades the place... waiting for next year.
