Curaçao: the gay-friendly secret of the Caribbean

Located off the coast of Venezuela, the small island of Curaçao is part of the batch of islands in the Caribbean Sea. The country consists of two islands, one of which is uninhabited and named Klein Curaçao. Its capital and main city is called Willemstad.

Curaçao is probably one of the best kept secrets of the Caribbean. This sunny destination offers real treasures and surprises. Curaçao is one of the emerging gay friendly destinations for the next few years where it could become more emancipated.

The island is considered a UNESO World Heritage Site. The island's lively life makes for some great restaurants and nightlife.
