Cuba: an increasingly gay oasis
Cuba gay friendly?

Canadians have been raving about this destination for many years. Easily accessible from international airports, Cuba is also known as a less expensive sun destination than Mexico.

Cuba does not only attract Canadian tourists. Germans, French and Italians regularly come to the island to have a good time.

Lack of gay venues in Cuba
For gay and lesbian travelers who have toured the island, you have undoubtedly noticed the absence of gay venues in Cuba. This does not mean that there are no establishments. Despite this, gay and lesbian tourists are out and about on the beaches.

Santa Clara: Cuba's gay destination
Santa Clara is the place for gay and lesbian tourists as well as the capital Havana. Every night, gays and lesbians gather outside a ruined hotel to party. In the middle of the courtyard, couples dance and stick together. The singles look at each other and date. The discotheque El Mejunje also offers for more than 20 years, shows of transvestites to the pleasure of the visitors.

Whether it's to escape the winter or to have a good time in the summer, Cuba is becoming more and more gay friendly. Although there is still a lot of work to do to become the king of LGBT destinations, Cuba is becoming an oasis for gay travelers.
