Closure of a gay sauna in Carcassonne

Opened last March, the Atrium gay sauna was the new flavor of the month in Carcassonne. A clientele was beginning to be loyal to the establishment. The city decided to close the establishment following a control.

Indeed, the sauna L'Atrium has just received an administrative closure of two months. The owner of the establishment is accused of having sold alcohol without the permits required by the city. following the investigation, two employees would have been hidden.

The owner admits his faults. "I would have liked a little more leniency. Now I'm being punished right away for not even a little. And I have four people unemployed" he underlines to Midi Libre.

This temporary closure disappoints the clientele: "I liked going there. I liked going to the Atrium" says Renaud, a sauna customer.

The Atrium should reopen for Halloween.
