Poof Doof is Australia's biggest and best-loved gay party brand, and its Melbourne edition serves the city's biggest queer Saturday night, running weekly at Chasers Nightclub on Chapel Street in South Yarra. Built from the ground up around a love of quality dance music ("always future forward, never beige"), it transforms Chasers into a sweaty, euphoric, two-level wonderland: a massive main floor with a huge LED screen, premier sound and lighting pumping future-forward house, tech house and techno till dawn spun by Australia's best LGBTQIA+ DJs, and upstairs "Snap Crackle Pop," an all-out pop, hip-hop and throwback room with epic drag performances.
