't Herenhuis

't Herenhuis is one of Antwerp's gay saunas, set in a characterful 19th-century converted townhouse in Berchem, just south of the center, and has been running since 1999, full of old-world, faintly bordello-esque charm that modern venues can't match. Its facilities are up to date: a well-equipped Finnish sauna, a refreshing lap pool, a jacuzzi, a spacious steam bath, a darkroom, a video room and private cabins, plus a cozy bar-restaurant and salon for a drink and a bite. Warm and authentic with friendly staff, it draws a mixed-age crowd and runs a Wednesday discount day, taking part in Antwerp Pride each year.
