Theatron de Pelicula

Theatron is the largest gay nightclub in Latin America and one of the biggest in the world, a jaw-dropping mega-complex set inside a former movie theater in the heart of Bogotá's Chapinero gayborhood, open since 2002. Spread over five floors and a whole city block, its 13-plus themed rooms each run their own music, from electronic and pop to salsa, reggaetón, crossover, and 80s, alongside a central courtyard, drag shows in the Teatrino, and separate men's and women's spaces. On a big Saturday night, up to 7,000 people pour in, and the cover charge includes an open bar of selected drinks until 2am. Diverse, safe, and utterly overwhelming in scale, it's the beating heart of Bogotá's queer nightlife and a genuine bucket-list club.
