Joys is a discreet 450-square-meter adult club tucked away in Åbyhøj on the western edge of Aarhus, easy to reach off the highway with its own parking. Inside there's a lounge with free tea and coffee; changing and shower facilities with lockers and towels; a sauna; group rooms with large mattresses; and private rooms with films and a darkroom.

Hidden away at Østbanetorvet 8 in Aarhus, SLM Aarhus isn't the kind of place you stumble into by accident, and that's exactly the point. Running since 1978, this member-run cruising and fetish club has quietly outlasted trends, décor phases, and probably a few competing venues, becoming one of Denmark's longest-standing institutions for men who are into men, full stop.
