Not gay specifically, but it seemed to be gay-friendly. Relaxed and unpretentious; not a sophisticated venue, but adequate and reasonably priced. I visited during the day and had several swims in the clean, well-maintained pool. The patrons are down-to-earth, ordinary people, which made a nice change from some of the swinger-oriented spots in the village. There's quite a bit of competition for tables or loungers that have shade.
The food was not exceptional, and the side salad I ordered with my steak tartare (very basic as tartare goes) turned out to be a few leaves of lettuce and a quarter of a tomato. One server for the whole place was not really sufficient - service took a while, but you can go for a swim while you wait. The server was pleasant, but maitre d' (owner?) got a bit familiar with one of the attractive woman patrons, which I thought unprofessional.
If you want an edible meal, a refreshing naked dip and a break from the beach and the pace of the village, it's worth a visit.Read more
