Scheune

Scheune, "the barn," is one of Berlin's most traditional and best-loved gay fetish and cruise bars, a no-frills Schöneberg institution on Motzstraße in the Nollendorfplatz gay quarter, open since the mid-1990s and home to the Berlin Leather and Fetish Association. Spread over two cramped, characterful floors, it pairs a big, friendly bar with a busy downstairs darkroom, cabins, slings and play spaces, and runs a full week of themed fetish nights: leather, rubber, skinhead, jeans, uniform and sports/sneaker, plus a popular Sunday naked sex party. Open nightly from 9 pm right through to 7 am so you can come and go as you please, it draws a relaxed, attitude-free, mostly 30-plus crowd of men who like it a bit rough, and remains a firm favorite for anyone into Berlin's uninhibited fetish scene.
